Consider yourself lucky however --here you get a "Notice of Planned Road Works" weeks/months before they start, by which time, you get caught out and stuck in big traffic jam on the day they start, then it stays like that for weeks, no one ever in sight working on anything,tents put up over the holes dug in the road, temporary traffic lights that don't work properly, etc etc. You'd almost rather have the pot-holed roads and/or the blown-up gas main than the botched repair job afterward too!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
